Tulsi Yadav, a 21-year-old with big dreams and high hopes belonged to a small town near Nayamuda, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh and came from an extremely underprivileged family background. She has studied till 8th std. Her parents were in dire straits financially and did not have the means to send her to school. Tulsi had to discontinue schooling at an early age to support her parents with farming and domestic duties. A year back, she came across the NPCI Training Initiative in association with Orion Educational Society. She took the opportunity and enrolled herself in General Duty Assistant Course in healthcare sector to improve her skills and build a better life for herself. During the program. she learned practical as well as soft skills, which have helped her grow both personally and professionally. As she mentioned, the team and the staff were highly supportive and assisted her in understanding, learning. and growing while making the experience equally enjoyable and engaging.
