“Gaon ka vikas, desh ka vikas.”

Skills don’t exist in a vacuum. They exist inside communities — and for them to truly work, the community around them needs to be supportive too.

That is why OES invests in community development alongside individual skill-building. We work with local leaders, families, and institutions to create an environment where learning is valued, where employment is seen as achievable, and where every young person is encouraged to reach for more.

In places where untreated health concerns quietly shaped the limits of education, training, and sustained work, we brought preventive healthcare camps — offering screenings, consultations, and health education. Illness no longer stood in the way. With health barriers removed, individuals found greater capacity to engage in learning, work, and community life.

Our training initiatives with partners like Aristo Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd reflected the rhythms and realities of the surrounding communities: mobile phone repair for a generation that relies on connectivity, electrical work for homes wiring their futures, tailoring for celebrations and daily wear, appliance repair for households accumulating possessions worth maintaining. These were skills responding to everyday needs, not abstract market projections. And because the training aligned so closely with local demand, livelihoods didn’t just emerge — they stabilized.

What We've Built Together

Changing Lives — One Woman at a Time.

Community development is not a programme delivered to people — it is a process built with them. Across the regions where OES operates, we have worked alongside local governments, self-help groups, panchayat leaders, and grassroots organisations to identify gaps, co-design responses, and implement solutions that communities themselves believe in and sustain.
